The story I'm writing that has Frank Crane in it is here. Is there a better name I could be using for the protagonist?
Names are not important. If it's bothering you, chose another name (find a list online of current most popular boys name so you chose something modern, maybe). But if you start relying on a name to put across something of the charactor you are doing something very wrong.
I agree with the first poster that you are doing something very wrong. Rather than worrying about the name you may want to reconsider the gender.
I just read your skimmed through your story very quickly. His personality from what I got from the story seemed to fit the name Frank Crane very well. I like the name for that character. Not sure what other name options you have in mind though, maybe you should post some other naming options. BTW, cool story.
