So, my dad is a first time home buyer.. The inspector went out and inspected the home. He gave me the report. I am wondering. What does the owner have to fix from the report? What are the buyer's responsabilities? Like insulation? Smoke detectors? Stuff like that, heating, doors, windows?
Nothing unless they found out who did it. In which case they would probably make you or whom ever pay for having it recharged.
If you have a desktop, the keys should be able to be carefully pried out with a flat-bladed screwdriver. Inside you'll see a kind of plastic cup arrangement intended to keep small quantities of liquids off the electronics. If you didn't spill too much, they may have worked. Try cleaning the plastic and the inside of the key cap with a Q-tip moistened SLIGHTLY with rubbing alcohol (I think it's non-conductive). When it dries, carefully push the keycap back on. The space bar is a little different. It usually has a long metal spring that has to be replaced properly at both ends to work right. Hope that helps, and good luck.
