What is cement asbestos and where was it used? Is it basically just sheeting that is/was used to insulate housing (kinda like siding)? We were sanding/grinding a cement wall in the company front yard, and I was just wondering if this could have been labelled as cement asbestos. I don't know if it contains asbestos, but it is just a cement/concrete wall that contains the company name. Thanks.
Poured cement such as walls, slabs, driveways etcetera did not contain asbestos..just concrete sheet products also known as Fibro..it is still called fibro in oz but it now contains no asbestos..here is a link
You are thinking of a siding panel that was manufactured back before the 70s? Cement and asbestos panels, maybe 1 foot by 2 foot. There are replacements now for this siding that contain no asbestos. A very old siding, and no, you would know the difference between concrete and this siding.
