Take it in, they will put the scanner on it and read the error codes, then you will have some idea of what it needs.
The light could be from a coolant level sensor, other sensor, etc it's a guessing game without looking at it. I would recommend you take it to a shop. Good luck.
brake horse power is the amount of energy an engine can extract from its fuel during a set amount of time. not to be confused with torque, the actual turning force the engine can make. the graphs of both are related, but max torque and where it is delivered in RPM is more important
