Question:

What is meant by machinery itinerary?

English is not my first language, and i looked into dictionaries, but it was not clear .. it has something to do with moving or transporting .. but i can't understand what is meant by it exactly ... help me native speakers of English!

Answer:

It could be the heading of a certain ledger which includes machines and their parts that are moved from one place to another (itinerary). This may include pneumatic drills, backhoes with drills and buckets as attachments, etc. The phrase machinery itinerary should have a comma between the two words if it is a heading. I suppose even labor in such companies would be regular labor and labor, itinerary.
i've never heard that phrase before, actually at first glance, i thought you wrote matching itinerary which is a common phrase...but i would immediately assume with confidence that machinery itinerary means that the components of an event would consist entirely of machinery and/or the act of doing mindless work like a machine....maybe if you wrote out the way it was used people could help a little better?
I'm 60 years old native English speaker with a post-college vocabulary and work in industry, but not in the machinery industries.. I have never heard of that phrase. I assume it is an itenerary (a list) of machinery (parts and equipment for machines)
