there really is no such term or catagory of machine. there are machines which involve various levels of precision and machines that can produce various levels of precision. A fine swiss watch could be a precision machine and so could any ball bearing be a precision machine. Lathe and milling machines can be considered precision machines but then so can the space shuttle.
