it would be better if you tried it. :P Ive never heard the story but this is actually wishing magick. so I would vote true on it, but i think there are better wishing methods that won't require that much time and won't kill trees. Blessings, Shadow
I am not sure if it is true, but There is a myth that if a sick person makes 1000 paper cranes they will get one wish from god. Read the story Sadako and the thousand paper cranes.
There is a legend that if a person makes 1000 cranes then they get one wish. Cranes are a sign of longevity in Japan and children often make cranes and bring them to a famous shrine in Japan. Not sure if its true or not. I'm testing it out now actually. Just 900 something more cranes to go.
