I remember when my son was little I would sometimes take his temperature and it would be like 95.5 I remember thinking that can't be right That was just just his body temperature in the morning but he often pushed off his blankets when he slept so he was a little chilled when he woke up Later in the day it would be like 97.5 or somethingThe body temperature for anybody is supoose to be 98.6 but sometimes a person's individual body temperature is a little off from that and that's normal for them.
i usually bake my cake about 2 days before as well, all i do is cover the cake in plastic rap and leave them out at room temperature and the day that i decorate the cake its as if i baked it that dayif you just leave the cake out without covering it with something then it will dry out and not be as moistif you were to freeze it then it takes about an hour to thawyou would usually freeze a cake if you were to use it a long period of time from now.
Freezing Cake Before Decorating
I wouldn't freeze it, it should be perfectly fine in the fridgeGrowing up, we always kept cakes in the fridge (my mom preferred them chilled) and they really taste better/fresher that wayJust cook them, let them cool a bit on the counter, then put them in the fridgeYou could ice them tonight if you had to, otherwise, just get the out of the fridge/wait about an hour, and then ice and no one will ever know they weren't made that dayGood luck and happy b'day to your girl!
