It depends on how drastic your diet isIf you are taking things slow to get your body accustomed to your diet it may take 3 - 4 weeksIf you all of a sudden jump into a very drastic diet it may take anywhere from one week to two weeks or more.
It could be a week and it could be monthsI give you a big pat on the back for choosing a much healthier lifestyleYour body will level out soon enoughI, myself, should be following your lead, but I too dive in overboard first few days, and then I'm in misery with gas and pains, and the runs :) Good luck with thisI'm sure it wont be much longerYour body will soon adjust to accomodate your new dietGood for yoU!
It should take about two full weeks for your body to become accustomed to your diet shiftTo ease this, spread your foods out over the day so you're not taking a ton of fiber at one mealAlso, try natural stomach regularity foods like yogurt (such as Activia), or Tums or Rolaids.
I remember in calculus class we used derivation to find the best proportion to maximize volumeIt's funny because some companies use different ratios to get less liquid but it doesn't look small.
