A feral cat had kittens in our house attic crawlspaceThe cat got in through a gap in the soffit between our roof and our aluminum porch roofThe kittens (2 of them, we think) are about a month old and move about between the ceiling support beams and the pink insulationThey make noise at nightWe put a cage-type trap baited with tuna in the crawl space up there about 4 days ago but they don't seem to be attracted to the foodIs there any other way of getting them out of the attic space, or, is there something we can put up there to chase them out, like mothballs? Will they leave on their own anyway? Any advice would be appreciated.
I have to agree with the old man - not using the spray foam is a mistake pay a little more now and save on energy bills forever or save a little now and pay bigger bills forever
You can also try the good old KFC trickCats also love fried chicken and its smellyIf the tuna isn't working try different types of baitsFood is usually the best motivating factor to get a cat out of a place.
