When you set up a lock, should the jagged edge of the key be on top or bottom when you attempt to unlock it?
I don't think replacement is actually necessary every 5 years, but with the possible exception of that, Jim W is correct. Either the batteries need replaced, or the entire alarm needs replaced. Even if they are hardwired, and you need to replace the connection to the home wiring, it shouldn't take 5 minutes per alarm.

I'm just kidding, when I use Tarot cards I always asociated air with wands and fire with swords but I read them the same because the elements do not effect the interpretation of the card, unless your doing a reading using only the elemental aspects for them.
