Question:

what is the difference between a remote start and a car alarm?

I bought a Viper 571xv and i taught it was a car alarm. Is there a way i can make it to a car alarm?

Answer:

Remote start: Starts the car Car alarm: Sounds when someone is touching or doing something to your car. I don't think that you can make it into a car alarm. Just buy one if you have to or want to.
Car alarm systems are a total waste of time and money. If you want to keep your car from being vandalized or stolen, park it inside a secure garage.
no you cant make it in to a car alarm, that will have to be added separate, most of those cars did come with alarm systems on them though, but some didn't,its easy to add a system to it though, viper brand makes a real good alarm system for that car, that's what i have on my car is a viper system and it works really well,it goes off a lot though, but at least it works well it went of last night because someone was trying to steal gas from it,the are very sensitive, but well worth the money they cost, good luck.
