They squeal like the dickens I put them on my Ford ranger and replaced the ceramic's they do squeal badly and Get the life time pads non metallic because the metallic will out last your rotors. And there is no such thing as organic pads. use the two year or you will replace the rotors next brake job. I put anti squeal on them and it didn't help with the ceramics and the parts store told me all squeal that are made of ceramics.
A non- organic pad is also called semi-metallic and has small pieces of metal in pad surface to increase friction. Unfortunately, this also causes the harmonics known as squealing. They are also less effective at dissipating heat, thereby heating rotors more and possibly warping them on some models. Ceramic pads are very effective at dissipating heat (think space shuttle tiles- ceramic blend) and cause very little brake dust, not to mention no squealing. As a bonus, most ceramic pads have a lifetime warranty. If the ones you are looking at don't, go to a different parts store. I own a shop and we only install ceramic pads because of the customer satisfaction with that product. In my opinion, the best pads going right now are called CMAX ceramics and come with new clips and hardware, thus negating the extra 15 bucks! They are at AUTO ZONE
Ceramics are a bit better, stay cooler and do not produce as much brake dust. I would say they're worth the 15 extra
There is nothing more satisfying when the snow is flying than curling up with a warm blanket and crocheting or knitting in front of my tv/fireplace . It almost seems warmer when you can hear the crackling sound of logs burning. I am not a winter person so will hibernate until warmer weather.
