I keep looking up sunstones on etsy and finding stuff with strawberry quartz instead.
Quartz is a mineral so in order to get some, you mine (dig) it out of the ground. Quartz is very common so it isn't expensive. Check out your local gem dealer and see if they have any.
...How is Quartz Obtained?... Quartz can be 'obtained' by picking it up off the ground, or by digging for it. If you meant how is quartz formed
