Most of the information says that MR16 is a multiple reflecting light cup, but why is it a lamp? What is the difference between the MR16 and the G4?

The number indicates the size of the bulb's largest shape, which is a multiple of 1/8 of an inch
So "16" means the maximum diameter of the lamp is 2 inches. Most of the lamps and lanterns in our life are used in this lamp, and most low pressure (12V, 24V, 36V etc.) also USES MR16 G4: G means the socket type is inserted, and the rear number indicates the center of the lamp is 4mm
