Question:

what is the easiest car alarm to install yourself?

I have an 88 caprice. I don‘t have the money to get one professionally installed. Which alarm is easiest to install without me chopping my car as I am not a professional.

Answer:

you can install an alarm system your self, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do this, all the alarm systems come with a real good set of directions now days,so it makes it easy to install,if you,ll take your time with it,you can do this, good luck with it hope this helps.
None, every alarm requires almost the exact same wiring. Constant power (Either from the battery or from the column) Ground Door Pin or Dome light (Possibly the hardest wire to track down) Ignition (Column) (Tells when someone has started your car) Hood Pin (You put this in if you want, drill a hole in the engine bay) Trunk Pin (Same as hood pin, but only if you want to do it) Siren +/- (Needs to get up into the engine bay and the siren needs to be mounted out of the way of water)
