Question:

What is the punishment for stealing a bulldozer?

First off, I'm not planning to steal a bulldozer. I can't drive. What is the punishment for stealing a bulldozer, provided one never has the chance to run over something with it? I assume it would be worse than stealing a car and would require jail time. But how much?

Answer:

Yeah, it's considered a vehicle so......... Just depends on which county you live in and how harsh they view that crime. It'd probably be probation in the county I live in but the county I work in would get you jail time in the end.
It's grand theft. First timer? maybe 60 days but if you have a record it could earn you 5 years in the Iron Bar Hotel.
Probably tresspassing at whereever the bulldozer is parked and it would be the same as stealing a car... but good luck if you dont know how to drive one someone will catch you before you even figure out how to start one.. i work for a construction company and have driven them.
It all depends on the state you live in and your prior record. You could get any amount of time.
No, its actually pretty much the same as stealing a car.
