What Is The Smell of Quartz?
A ceramic heater operates at a lower temperature and is said to be safer. But they focus more on heating the entire room so it may not be efficient in darfty areas. Also all the ceramic heaters I've owned only had overheat protection. A quartz heater warms the person in front of it and gives a radiant sunlike glow. Quartz heaters get hotter, but may cause burns if the front gaurd is touched during use. Most come with tip-over and overheat protection though. I have a Holmes quartz heater with a dog and I've never had problem with her getting too close or knocking it over.
