Does it help spread the paint more evenly? I am doing model painting, and the paint leaves patches of color from beneath the paint. Does paint thinner help this problem? Just wondering...
the purpose of paint thiner is to make the paint go on more smoothly without bumps and such
paint thinner will help the paint go on smoother. you probably just need to put a second coat of paint on your model. be sure you let it sit for a day or 2 or whatever the recommended time between coats are. use the paint thinner to clean your brush then clean the brush again with cold water & soap--any dish soap or bar soap will work. be sure to use cold water as hot water will melt the glue that holds the bristles in your brush & they will all fall out.
