Answer:

It does not really matter how many years you have been on flat, but how strong your ankles are, and how strong your leg is, and how well you can pointe your toeYears do not matter, but technique does Like how you need to know English before learning Spanish, same thing with flat and pointe If you feel you are ready, then talk to a teacher about itGood Luck!!
It all depends on if you feel confident enough, and if you have strong technique on flatIf you learned quickly and are great on flat, you can try pointe and ask your teacher if he or she thinks your readyI have been dancing since i was 5 and started pointe when i was 11 (that's the age my dance teacher normally starts people) she also had my class, and all the classes, X-ray their feet before starting pointe to see if our growth plates in our feet has stopped growing, which I would reccommend for you so you dont mess up your feet too much and permanently ) good luck and have fun dancing!!
I'm thirteen and my ft are lovely flat, and I havde been en pointe for five yearsMy ft are not as flat as yours even thoughI have used a stretching band made via bunheads to strenghen my ftYou positioned your foot within the core of the elastic and flex and factor your footThis strengthens your ft and builds up archesThis labored good for me, and i'm hoping it really works for youThere is a hyperlink for the excersise bands on the backsideI additionally reccomend Grishko professional flex pointe sneakers for individuals with low arched ftThey make your ft appear plenty greater than they fairly areGood Luck!
It depends on how strong you are not how many years and your ageYounger children 10 and under shouldn't go on pointe because their feet haven't fully developed and aren't really strong enoughThis can lead to disastrous feet in the years to comeI started ballet when I was 7 and went on pointe when I was 11.
I tried using an emergency blanket on two different occasions while backpackingWhen the temperature was above 50f it was fairWhen the temp dropped below 50f it was uselessAbout the only thing you can do with one is wrap it around your shoulders and hold it together tightUsing it in a tent causes terrible condensationAnd they never stayed tucked in when trying to sleep with oneThey are great for reflecting heat from the sun though.
