not much unless you put some on the back wall of a subwoofer box on the inside. then it means a lot as in better sq and ph.
yeah all depends on your preference. mine is grey, doesnt really make a difference to me. but carpet itself serves as a sound dampener to keep the box tight and to not let it bang around when the bass hits. i didnt think it was a stupid question. good question.
is that a serious question? no. its just for looks. whatever color you like. my box carpet is black b/c my car is black and so is the trunk
Carpeting the outside of the sub box helps to protect the sub box itself. In regards to the color, it's all for looks - so use whatever color you like if you don't like black.
It is for aesthetics. You can use whatever color you like.
