Question:

what is the specific heat capacity of brine.?

plz specify wether for a dilute one or concentrated one or normaland no jokes..i'm not in a mood for jokes...so plz answer seriously

Answer:

[1] The specific heat capacity of ocean water is: 3996 J kg^-1 K^-1 [2] The specific heat capacity of frozen brine is 2900 J kg-1 (°C)-1 [2] The specific heat capacity of liquid brine is 3200 J kg-1 (°C)-1 [3] The specific heat capacity of briny ice on Lake Vida is 2000 J kg-1 K-1 [4] The specific heat capacity of feed brine saturated KCl solution around 40'C for Potash Crystallization is 3100 J kg-1 K-1 [5] The specific heat capacity of heat carrier fluid in bore hole heat exchangers (unclear if this is brine, though brine is mentioned) 3565 J kg-1 K-1
Specific Heat Capacity Of Brine
brine by definition has to be sturated or nearly saturated. if you heat it it becomes less saturated so you need to keep adding salt. the top temp is probably about 400 centigrade (that is what it is for sugar)
