Question:

What is the tank body made of the tanker?

What is the tank body made of the tanker?

Answer:

(1) carbon steel can be divided into three kinds: carbon structural steel, carbon tool steel and free cutting structural steel according to the use, and carbon structural steel is divided into two kinds: construction steel and machine manufacture structural steel;(2) by refining methods can be divided into open hearth steel, converter steel;(3) according to deoxidization methods, they can be divided into boiling steel (F), killed steel (Z), semi killed steel (b) and special killed steel (TZ);(4) according to the carbon content of the steel can be divided into low carbon steel (WC = 0.25%), carbon steel (WC0.25% - 0.6%) and high carbon steel (WC>0.6%);(5) according to the quality of steel, carbon steel can be divided into ordinary carbon steel (phosphorus, sulfur, higher), high quality carbon steel (low phosphorus and sulfur) and high quality steel (lower phosphorus and sulfur) and super quality steel.
Carbon steel:Any of various steels that contain less than 2.11% of the mass of carbon but contain no alloying elements. Sometimes referred to as plain carbon steel or carbon steel.Carbon steel, also called carbon steel, refers to an iron carbon alloy with a carbon content of less than 2.11% Wc.Carbon steel, in addition to carbon, usually contains a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur and phosphorus.
The tanker can be used: carbon steel, stainless steel, plastic, glass, steel lining plastic cans (PP), following to tank tanker common material to share.
Glass fiber reinforced plastics, that is, fiber reinforced plastics, generally refers to glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and phenolic resin matrix. Reinforced plastics made from glass fiber or its products are referred to as glass fiber reinforced plastics or glass fiber reinforced plastics. Because of the different kinds of resins used, they are called polyester glass fiber reinforced plastics, epoxy glass fiber reinforced plastics and phenolic resin glass fiber reinforced plastics. Light and hard, non conductive, high mechanical strength, less recycling, corrosion resistance. It can be used instead of steel to make machine parts, automobiles, ship shells, etc.. Generally used in corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, insulation industry.
Stainless steel:Refers to the air, steam, water and other weak corrosive medium and acid, alkali, salt and other chemical corrosive medium corrosion of steel, also known as stainless acid resistant steel. In practical application, the steel which is often corroded by weak corrosive medium is called stainless steel, and the steel which is resistant to chemical medium is called acid resisting steel. Because of the difference in chemical composition between the two, the former is not necessarily resistant to chemical medium corrosion, while the latter is generally stainless. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel depends on the alloying elements contained in the steel. The basic alloying elements of stainless steel, as well as nickel, molybdenum, titanium, niobium, copper, nitrogen and so on, to meet the various requirements for the use of stainless steel structure and performance. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel decreases with the increase of carbon content. Therefore, the carbon content of most stainless steel is lower, and some steel wC (carbon content) is even lower than 0.03% (such as 00Cr12). The main alloying element in stainless steel is Cr, and only when the Cr content reaches a certain value can the steel be corrosion resistant. Therefore, stainless steel in general, wCr are above 13%. Stainless steel also contains Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb and other elements. Generally used in food, chemical, wine, dairy and so on. Stainless steel tank has a strong resistance to corrosion, it is free from outside air and water residual chlorine corrosion, under atmospheric pressure, the service life can reach more than 100 years.
