Question:

What is the working principle of the dryer?

What is the working principle of the dryer?

Answer:

The heat from the heat source in a variety of ways to wet materials, the material surface moisture vaporization and escape into outer space, thus the moisture content difference in the material surface and internal. Internal moisture diffusion and evaporation to the surface, so that the moisture content of the material continues to decline, and gradually complete the drying of the whole material
In the drying process, the heat and mass (wet) transfer are needed to ensure that the material surface is wet and the vapor partial pressure (concentration) is higher than the wet steam partial pressure in the outer space, so that the heat source temperature is higher than the material temperature.
The purpose of drying is for material use or further processing
The drying process needs to consume a large amount of heat, in order to save energy, suspension or solution of some high moisture content of material, containing solid matter generally after mechanical dewatering or heating evaporation, and then in the dryer drying, to get dry solid
