Question:

What Kind of cold air intake should i get for my 2005 Camry.?

Yeah i know your probably laughing right now cause who would mod a camry out? But its my first car i recently got my license and i want to do something to itI got to work with what i have. I already have a apexi n1style muffler on it and i want to get a cold air intake. But also not spend much money so can you help me out i have a 2005 camry 2.4 liter.thanks, Kevin

Answer:

Actually, no. I'm laughing because you obviously didn't take 10 minutes and learn anything about your car, before posting this question. Your car HAS a cold air intake. Go take a look. See how the intake leads away from the engine, then has an airbox, with likely another small inlet below it, behind the bumper? That's to pull cold air into the engine. The only difference between it, and an aftermarket one, is that an aftermarket one might have slightly more efficient piping. That's all. Your muffler? Does nothing for your car. So, seeing as you are content with wasting money on things that add no performance or anything else, go ahead and buy whatever aftermarket intake you want. At best 1-2 horsepower. Your car weighs around 2700lbs. You will not notice 1-2 horsepower. Nor will the car. You may experience a placebo effect, where it seems faster, but that's all. It will change the cosmetic appearance of your engine, and that's it. You don't have a lot of money, so it's sad to see you wasting it on stuff like this, but do what you want.
I prefer the latter option. I would end up catching my blanket on fire if I were at a fireplace, and that would NOT be good. At all.
Since I do not have a fireplace, I use the blanket and heater.
Wrapped in a blanket by a fire.
