Question:

What kind of effect would result from a spark gap transmitter powered by lightning?

Would there be any HERF/EMP effect by creating a HUGE copper antenna and coil which was powered by attaching a long wire to a model rocket and firing it during a lightning storm, hoping the lightning strikes the rocket/wire and following it down into the coil and antenna then going through a spark gap and into the ground? No I'm not going to try it, just curious. I know this sounds stupid, but I would like mature, serious answers only. Please don't answer I don't know just for the points!

Answer:

Unfortunately, the only one that can safely remove the tooth is a qualified veterinarian. Your dog will need to be anesthetized, intubated, and the tooth will need to be removed with dental surgical instruments. While your vet is removing this tooth, you should get the best value out of it by having them clean your dogs teeth and check for other retained puppy teeth.
There could be a spider in it. When a spider walks across the laser beam that looks for smoke, it can trigger the alarm. Try taking down the alarm and cleaning it vacuum the hole in the ceiling for spiders. Good luck!
Those are photo-electric detectors. They sense when something blocks a beam of light. Fine dust gets into them, blocks the light, and makes them hyper-sensitive. It's easier to just replace them every few years.
