Question:

What kind of performance exhaust system should I get?

I need a relatively cheap performance exaust system for my 1995 Buick Century. Not too cheap that it will be crap, but not way too expensive that I would have to make payments on it for the next 10 years lol.I'm only 17 so I can't afford something uberly expensive. The reason I'm asking you guys is because I'm sure you know 30 times as much as I do about cars.

Answer:

For future reference, my auto mechanics teacher gave me this advice, whenever you scrape the frost/ice off youre window make sure you lift up youre wipers to get them unstuck before turning them on, Never turn your wipers on to clear snow off your windsheild unless you know they arent stuck.
HEY MAN DONT LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS ITS CHEAPER THAN YOU THINK. the 95 buick. 3.8 or 3.1 even the 2.8 all have excellent exhaust manifolds which are header style round pipe tuned for that motor. so what you need is a good cat con and a muffler of your choice. i myself like flowmaster or even cherry bomb. cherry bombs have a flow master design and are a bit cheaper. you only need one muffler.
If this motor vehicle you decide directly to do those issues to is your conventional driver then dont bypass loopy with exhaust mods. don't get headers. those artwork great for relatively outfitted engines and severe street racing yet for conventional use they seem to be a waste on money each and every thing relies upon on your funds. in case you have some $$$$ to play with then get a cat lower back exhaust gadget that's basicaly a clean exhuast gadget from the catalytic converter on lower back to the rear bumper. Usualy they characteristic a somewhat greater beneficial diameter pipe and a overall performance muffler in case you have greater money then get a overall performance catalytic converter. Dont do headers, dont develop the size of the pipe from the header to the converter. a conventional street motor vehicle desires somewhat backpressure if your on a funds then purely replace the muffler with a overall performance muffler. Ebay has a great sort of the belongings you're searching for.
you'll have a hard time finding a exhaust system for that car and it won't be cheap no matter how you cut it, BUT if you go to Advance auto they do sell just mufflers from flowmaster. you could buy one and have it installed. that would get you a little, but really you need a mitsu lancer, honda civic or chevy cavalier/cobalt to have alot of tuner stuff available for it.
