I use a Zebco baitcaster and a Medium-Heavy rod a lot, but sometimes I'll use my Zebco 33 or Shakespeare Firebird combo.
Yellow pvc is not pvc it is cpvc. Usually used for hot water line. Turn off gas going to pipe. Cut out bad section, and take to hardware store. Get cpvc cleaner and glue. Tell clerk you need two cpvc couplings and a short piece of pipe all for the size in your hand. Rub cleaner with pad connected to cap on one side of the fitting and one side of cut pipe. Repeat with glue. Connect and give slight twist. Hold for 10 seconds. Do same on other side, then same to attach pipe in middle. Pipe for middle should be cut to fit halfway through each coupling. Wait half hour and turn gas back on. P.S. If this is a water line, be sure it is off. 10 points please
