Question:

what produces more carbon emission, computers or bulldozers?

i have to present a speech on logging in tasmania. and i want to know which causes more emission so i can include it in the speech. plz answer as soon as possible as the day for me to present the speech isnt long away

Answer:

it depends upon certain factors... usually its bulldozer that produces more carbon emission but it could be computers in certain cases...it depends on how the power required for computers to run in generated, if its done by green or less pollutiong methods then it doesnt produce a lot of carbon emissions.
Computers themselves don't emit carbon but the making of the electricity that powers them does. But the carbon emissions associated with the production of electricity that can power a computer for an hour will be less than the carbon emissions that will power a bulldozer for an hour. But if you are comparing all the computers in the world to bulldozers, there are more than 1 billion computers in the world but only a few million bulldozers so in that sense computers will produce more carbon emission. Just depends on the way you look at it.
your *** produces more than anything. DO YOUR OWN DAMN RESEARCH.
