Question:

WHAT ARE METALS USED FOR?

what produces out there are metals used for if you can answer this what is the percentage of metals being used in the market ?

Answer:

Non-American metal for sure! America has some good metal bands, but their numbers pale in comparison to the amount of awesome European metal bands.
Jimi Hendrix Ace Frehley Eric Clapton
Both have their ups and dowsn but I have to go with Europe, I really like gothic, symphonic and melo-death metal and Europe pretty much has that covered. I can't think of a decent American gothic metal band. Scandanavia in general is on top of the metal scene
Thats a tough question for me.....I like a lot of bands from America (Throwdown, Pantera, Hatebreed, LOG, etc) but I love a lot of bands from other places in the world (Soilwork, The Haunted, etc).......personally, I think both have really produced great metal bands....but for the sake of the number of bands I listen to that have come from America over the years compared to elsewhere, I will have to go with American Metal....although I do greatly agree with you on European Melodic Death Metal bands.... edit: After reading some of the other answers, I want to clarify that I am not just talking about metal today, but throughout the years...
I agree. The only thing coming out of America these days is some really bad Nu Metal or just some random Metalcore bands. However, Europe is the place to be if you are a diehard metal fan. You can easily find some good Black Metal, Melo-Death Metal, and Power Metal bands from Europe. The best metal bands to come out of the U.S. is Slayer, Pantera, and Nevermore and those were 90's bands. Where is the good U.S. metal today?
