Hi , I would like to know what's the difference between Customer relationship Management(CRM) and Supply Chain Managment (SCM)?.and where do they interact ?consider the kind of technologies used in each.
Take a major retailer like Nike Customer relationship Management(CRM) refers to the interation with the consumer, the people that buy their goodsPoint of sell, returns, advertising, etcSupply chain starts with the people who make the fibers or grow the cotton to yarn, to fabri, to dyeing, finishing, cut, sew and everything to make the productThen it goes through the stores to the customer, to recycling or disposal of the product, etcSo the CRM is a subset of the Supply chain.
