Question:

What's the tastiest high fiber cereal you've had, besides shredded wheat?

I've got to start eating more fiber, and everyone recommends shredded wheat, but I CAN'T STAND that stuff(It's just tree bark, sometimes with frosting on one side)Any other ideas for a cereal that has actual flavor and doesn't feel so much like I might as well be gnawing on a tree out back?

Answer:

yep,, I do mine in cold water with cold water detergent and I have a place to hang mine outside to dry,, then tumble lightly but with no heat of very low heat
you could try giving it a good stiff brush, watch out the pile does not come out thoughthese blankets do not keep their appearance for long.
These blankets aren't made to become a family heirloom, they're cheap to buy but won't keep their quality for longYou could try a fabric softener, but truly, give it a hammering for a year then throw it in the car trunk for picnics.
I like All-Bran better, but it's even more like chewing on tree barkThat's just what high-fiber cereals are like! Cereals made from oats (like Cheerios or even oatmeal) have -better- fiber, more soluble fiberThere's a lot of fiber in nuts, and fruit (especially with the skin on), and whole grain breadThere's a bread we get that has on the label 'Double Fiber', which also has less carbohydrates in it, which is also good.
