Question:

What size is my bottom bracket?

I have a felt 9 80 18 inch mountain bike and i just bent my bottom bracket. I go on the felt website and all they tell me is that its a sealed bracket. What size do i need?

Answer:

Pull the bracket the model number and the size will be printed on it. Edit: If you don't have the tools you cant replace it anyway.
Bottom brackets are measured from end to end of the spindle, where the crank arms attach.
you have to go to a bike shop bottom brackets are very hard to get the right thing for even if you have the original, it may be discontinued or something else would be better and or cheaper wle
Manufacturers rarely put all the specs of a BB, it can vary from frame size. There are 4 parameters and anyone can render an online purchase useless. The best thing is to take it out yourself, take it to a bike shop and have them order one. This is also a good time to upgrade, especially if you've crunch the crank interface.
It is very unlikely that you actually bent the bottom bracket. Why would you not go to a bike shop? Since you don't have tools to change the bottom bracket, you will have to go to a shop anyway unless you buy the tools you need. So, buy the tools, remove the cranks and bottom bracket and then you can measure it
