I have an old twin bed and I really want to get a queen this year. Is bedding for it much more? What size bed to you have and what does your bedspread look like? Do you like it?
I have a twin :( I have like 6 blankets on my bed. A sheet, a down comforter, a quilt, a fleece, a and two little fleeces. I want a bigger bed so bad but my mom won't budge. All my friends have at least full sizes and some of them are younger than me. I'm 13.
Usually queen bedding is more expensive than twin-sized because of all the extra material needed. A queen bed is typically around 21 inches wider and five inches longer than a twin. There's not always a dramatic difference in the pricing, though. I hope you have fun finding a new bed and decorative bedding for it.
I have a full size bed and a queen sized comforter, I like it cause it hangs down a little more where full sized ones show a little of the boxspring. Some bedspreads are designed to go all the way to the floor or have seams or trim that is meant to line up with the corners of the mattress, those may not work as well.
I have a king sized bed, and It's from Anthropologie. I believe It's called Forest Canopy Bed? I'm not sure. It's a canopy bed and there are large branches and such on It. I LOVE it. I would give you a link, but I'm on my iPhone so I can't, sorry. =( My bedding is also from Anthropologie, and It's dark purple with knots tied in it- It's called Rosette bedding. It's really vintage looking. I really like both my bed frame and bedding. To answer your question; bedding for a queen sized bed is usually more expensive than bedding for a twin sized bed. There will most likely be a 20-80 dollar difference.
I have a twin size bed and it has like 5 blankets on it, the bedding and sheets have dogs on them, they're from The Dog brand/collection thing. It's really old though. I need new sheets.. :/ But I love the dogs though, I'm gonna miss them if I get rid of them. I like the bedding, not the bed. I'm kinda getting a little big for the bed, not that big but I wouldn't mind a new bed. Preferably a king bed or full mattress, but a new twin is ok too. I won't tell my dad though since I know how many bills and stuff he has soo.. :3
