Question:

what social, economic, political, environmental, cultural and ethical implications has solar energy had?

negative and positive )

Answer:

I think it is positive in terms of the environment, culture and ethical implications but with social, economical and political is debatable.
For the environmentalists, they don't want large solar farms since it will destroy the environment. These people also are against wind farms unless they are in the middle of no where where the average person will not see or hear them and where there is no migratory birds or other birds that could be killed.

First, you don't mention what size wire you're using to get to the outbuilding and how big a service you're putting in. With that many recepts it sounds like you're getting ready to make it a small shop of sorts, which would require #12/2 w/grd., for the recepts and the #14/2 w/grd,, for the lights and switch. I would run the light(s) on one circuit and the recepts on another, maybe even splitting them onto two circuits depending on what it is you're planning on running in there. You wire the recepts with one wire to the brass colored screw and one wire to the silver colored screw and the bare copper wire to the green ground screw. There are two brass screws and two silver screws on each recept, one wire to each of the same screws to go to the next recept and then the next. That's about it.
