My mom is 35She is a brain cancer patient (low grade tumor), she loves nature and hiking, will not eat anything unhealthy, loves her family and puppy Potter, loves reading adventure stories and non fiction, and listening to all types of musicShe says all she wants is a clean house, which will already be done by Mom's Day, and my dad is cooking mealsI want to buy her something under $10The problem with books/CDs is I don't know what she's already seen and gift cards are expensiveShe likes to buy her own clothes and hair accessoriesShe loves our dog but otherwise is not a huge animal fan and neither is my dad.
I'm so sorry to hear about your Mom's poor healthI wish her all the best and I wish you strength and patienceIt's always hard to find something for Mom's because they usually don't want anything in particularIt's good that she loves nature and hiking and listening to music! Mom's always have such simple suggestions for gifts from their kidsPerhaps you could get a copy of one of her favourite outdoor pictures and buy a frame to put it intoI'm sure that you could find a picture frame for $10Another idea would be a micro fibre blanket (throw) that she can cuddle up in when the evenings are coolYou can tell her that the blanket represents your loving arms and when she wraps up in the blanket it's your love that will help keep her warmMom's love things that have symbolism attached to them My son once got me a speciality loaf of bread which I wouldn't normally buy for myself because it costs more than regular breadHe said that he thought he'd given me enough chocolate for Christmas and thought I might like a change in edible gifts! LOL I loved that! He had put some thought into it and made sure that I knew why I received a loaf of breadSome of his friends told him it was a stupid gift but my heart still warms when I think about how he had given it so much thoughtYou'll find something I'm sure of it and I'm also certain that you will get many good ideas in the answers to your question! Enjoy your Mom's company and love and I know that she will appreciate anything you do for her!
