one side of my car molding has lifted itself from the windshield
They make an actual windshield mold adhesive for that. Prob get at any auto part store. Or department store that has auto section. Would not use imitation kind. Might have same prob later. Chances are the rest will prob be coming off sometime soon. Best only fix 1 time. Keep left over for later use on other side.
The CORRECT window seal goes between the window and body of the car. Any automotive window glass company will remove the window and lay down a new seal for not a lot of money.
Get a caulking gun and a tube of clear silicone sealant. Remove all molding, seal around the glass and replace the molding.
