What video game/online game do you play behind closed doors?
*Put her in a confined room in your house. *Cover up her cage with pillows and blankets (not too much though, you don't want to sufficate her) *Turn on the TV or a radio so there is some noise to block out the fireworks. *If you can try to distract her then do it.
I have an infrared mouse and it works better on a mouse pad, as well. The optical and infrareds work it just reading the instructions and learning how to use them. The old ball type mice (mouses) are hard to clean and not as efficient when you learn how to use a new type of mouse.
Your girlfriend's daughter seems to be incredibly spoiled. I'm 16 and I wouldn't DARE act out like that, because I know I'd feel the back of my Dad's hand. I don't think violence is good parenting, but I do feel some parents bend over backwards too frequently because all Hell breaks loose if they refuse. Too many parents try too hard to be their friend, instead of their parent and to be on good terms with their child, they do whatever they want to keep them sweet. Tell the family you are not their servant and if they act out like the daughter, do the same Throw a tantrum like an immature moron, and them let them see how stupid they look. It's sad how no-one remembers the Commandment: Honour thy mother and thy father.
