The movie was Vanishing Point. It was about a guy named Kowalski delivering a Dodge challenger for a client, from Denver to San Francisco and how he avoided the cops through Utah and Nevada. As I remember there was a radio D.J. that was talking to him through the airwaves. It's been about 25 years or so since I saw the movie but I still remember the bulldozer crash.
