Question:

What would be the best yarn to use for to knit a string bikini that's going to be worn to the beach/pool?

I am planning to knit a few bikinis for the summer to be a little creative and I wannna know what would be the materials that I should look for in a yarn in order for it to be able to be used while swimmingAlso, I would like to know if I can find them at places like Walm art or Michaels.

Answer:

they make scaled models and test them in current scaled mini riversThey are actually quite cute.
as some1 already said earliera model is prepared testedin technical terms modelprototype The prototype is thn subjected to the forces which will actually be acting on the actual bridgethe results r analysed n necessary modifications r mmade in actual bridge
when you design, you do it for specific loads and requirementsSo the design has to be able to withstand those loads plus a security factor Structural science has a pretty good theory and that joined with registered experimental results for different materials enables the engineer to do a calculation that can tell him how the structure is going to distribute the forces and how much its going to deform.
I agree with the first answer - NOTHING that stretches when it gets wetCotton is an excellent choice, and the smaller the yarn/thread, the less of a problem you'll have with things poking through that you'd rather didn't (or else you can line it with light-weight cotton fabric)'Knit-cro-sheen' or 'speed-cro-sheen' weight thread was the preferred weight for bikinis back in the 60's and 70'sCream, beige, or pastels are good colors to go for - white can turn yellow in chlorine or mottled brown in lake water, and bright/deep colors can fade rapidly in chlorineGood luck!
