I could add to my 2006 Dodge charger with its V6 3.5L engine?.Would a cherry bomb glasspack do the trick? And if so could I make that Dual rear exit because I really want a dual exhaust on it.Thank you
Actually, you should straight pipe it. I straight piped my '86 Turbo Z (a four banger TII turbo) and it sounds like a big pig. It's awesome. And you can still have dual exhaust if you do that, too.
I don't know where you'd go to get statistics. As far as I know, scooters and motorcycles are lumped together as 'two wheeled vehicles' in statistics. The place to look is: www.nhtsa.dot / I wasn't able to find anything on 'scooters' except as '2-wheeled vehicles'. But I didn't look very long. You might find separate stats if you look. But I think scooters are safer because of the way they're ridden. I live in a suburban area surrounded by mountains (San Francisco Bay Area). The mountains are full of wonderful roads for motorcycles, and on the weekends I see lots lots of sportbikes on these roads being ridden by young guys with 'testosterone poisoning'. They take a lot of chances. Scooters are used mostly just for transportation. Of course they face a whole different set of hazards riding in crowded cities. But they are usually going slower, which I think makes a big difference. Scooters are designed to be easier to ride. They have a lower center of gravity, and they are more forgiving. They're lighter so there's less chance of them 'getting away from you'. You're right, it's the rider that makes them dangerous. Also the stupid people in cars who don't see them.
The question is how big of a scootie you are looking at I've seen them from 50 up to 400ccs. My daughter rode a 50 cc machine bright orange and still people didn't see her. The big thing that makes one safer over the other is in my opinion where the centre of gravity is. On her scootie the CoG was much higher making the beastie a little easier to tip than a bike with its lower CoG but I can't address the bigger scooters I think that their CoG would be low as well The other part of your question is on statistics more people are hurt or killed on bikes in North America because there are more of them. In Europe Italy or Spain say the reverse I would assume there are more scooters hence more accidents.
Flowmaster exhaust sounds the best, my friend has that exhaust and it sounds really good. It really sounds better than the exhaust on the SRT 8 300.
Anything with cherry bobs sounds like crap. Its old technology. Having a loud exhaust is obnoxious and will eventually annoy every body including you the driver and besides that 6cyls sound like crap with big exhaust systems. What I would recommend for a good sound would be a 3 chamber Flow Master with a 2 !/2 pipe. Its not obnoxious and sounds great.
