Question:

what would cause a loss of lifting power of a front-end loader?

two year old tracktor with a fronend loader, can't see any leaks of the hydroulic fluid

Answer:

Hydraulic pump is going bad.
Depends on what kind of loader. Check the fluid level first. Sometimes you cant see the leak. Then depending on your make of loader you can do a pressure test to see if the pumps putting out the required pressure. Is it just lifting slow? Or is it unable to lift the weight it use too?
It would be one of a few things. Clogged hydraulic filters Low on hydraulic fluid Hydraulic cylinders on loader arms getting weak, (does not commonly happen to both cylinders at the same time) Hydraulic pump worn out.
it could be low on fluid or the pump could be week.
