Would they just like, fly around?
depending on the size of these items you can pick up some great storage totes and some stack able racking from any Home Depotthe stack able racking comes in either plastic or metal and can be moved very easilythe totes come in many sizes and colors to choose from as well.
I built a wall of shelves to store boxes of fabric and so onTwo of them, actuallyOne in the sewing room, one in the spare bedroomI measured the boxes I meant to use and built the shelves accordingly so there was as little wasted space as possibleI use either cardboard office file boxes or plastic boxesYou can store an awful lot of stuff on one large shelf unit, with a little planningYou might want some shelves taller for larger boxes of fabric, some shorter for smaller boxes of notions or anything that is smaller than 5 yards of fabric.
There are so many new storage boxes out there for crafts! I keep my sewing supplies in plastic boxes with labelsThe labels should list what is in the boxesAll boxes are of the same size so I can stack them easierWhen I go to get supplies out I really make sure to put them right back in same box and stack them in closetI also found an old sewing table with small drawers and side drawers that open upI keep my sewing machine on top, patterns, some fabric, rulers etc.in side drawers and in the smaller drawers i keep scissors, needles, tape measures, pins, markers, etcThe darn thing was cheap and i found it in an old junk shop! It is in surprising good condition and looks good tucked away in a little nook in the hallwayI also reorganized my closet and put some things that I do not use as often in plastic containers down in my basementHope this helps! Good Luck!
