what would make an apple turn brown slower, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, wax paper
Do you have a flourscent strip light or a round incandescent light? My beardie had a flourscent UVB strip light (covered the entire tank length), and then he had an incandescent UV bulb for his basking spotThat gave him a warm area, and a cool areaBoth of which got plenty of UVB rays, but wasn't extremely hot throughout
Air is the enemy when it comes to fruits turning brownWrap cut fruit as quickly as you can in plastic wrap and then in foil, doing your best to ensure no air can get to the flesh Another trick is to put the cut apple in a ziploc baggie with a squirt of lemon juiceMake sure the lemon juice gets on the cut surfacesThe citric acid in the lemon juice will counter-act the browning
