Whats a good first motorcycle that looks like this?
Buy a Royal Enfield Bullet and you'll have the bike you are looking at.The one in the picture is a 1938 Norton with a stock girder front end.
I have to agree with James, the Honda Rebel is a great bike to move up to. The Enfields are now made in India and not yet up to par with the way they use to be. Chrome pits and rust quickly and the metal used is inferior, also tends to rust quickly.
Perhaps the Honda Rebel 250 is available where you live. MUCH easier than the Harley for a new rider to handle, and MUCH cheaper to fix if dropped. It can easily handle highway riding, and exceeds 100 kph with no problem.
