Ceramic braces are like a white color, they are supposed to be less visible, I think. They're more expensive than regular ones.
iron is faster as long as your mining at the dwarven mine. so i suggest that coal can be tedious and boring
for now iron will be faster but often you can do some of each i would go coal after level 77, go to world 84 and mine the concentrated coal
