The TH350 transmission was used in bigger vehicles with bigger engines. The 350 and 250 are the specifications for how much torque it can handle. The 350 and 250 are very close to each other. The 250 used cheaper parts. The 250 is good for the smaller 6 cylinder engines and would be equivalent to the Walmart brand of transmissions while the 350 is the brand name per say.
