Question:

Whats the difference between catback and axleback exhaust systems?

I just bought a mustang and Im lost when it comes to exhaust systems

Answer:

cat back means from the catalytic converter back ( best option for power and sound for {newer cars/any fuel injected}) axle back means from the rear axle to the exhaust tips back (just Mufflers) heads back means from the headers back (which is a full exhaust)
A Catback system is the exhaust components from the Catalytic Converter to the back of the car - typically a 'bolt on' system. The exhaust system can include ALL the components (Exhaust Manifold, Pipes, Catalytic Converter, Muffler, Resonator etc) but typically is the components that go from the exhaust manifold to the rear of the car.
all mustang have catbacks--meaning everything from after the cats and back. the 05+ mustang have an axleback which really is just muffles--everything from behind the axle and back. As long as you get a exhaust system that fits your make, model and year it will fit your car.
This Site Might Help You. RE: Was my car illegally repossessed? Ok, Monday night while I was at work, an unmarked tow truck came to my work place and took my car. I wasn't present to contest to the repossession, but our maintenance guy was out smoking and saw the guy doing it. He dropped into my car lifted it up and away he went in less that 10 minites
I could be wrong, but as long as the entrance wasnt gated or they didn't break anything to get through, its legal. Its like having your car parked in your backyard with no trespassing signs all around.they can still go back there and get it. They are supposed to give you back your personal possessions but don't be surprised if anything ends up missing, this does happen. If you knew your car was out for repossession and it wasnt in hiding you should of never kept valuables like that in it. People are probably gonna tell you that you should of just made your payments.
