i‘m so confused about these processes!
Mushrooms right it is dangerous and brake discs don't just warp this may just be a cheap disc
First, find out what caused the problem. it is usually heat from dragging pads. IF the warp is VERY minor, the rotor may be turned, BUT it is usually better to replace it. I LOVE the people who say to use the front brake harder. RIGHT! Lock the front wheel and the whole bike will rotate over the front wheel; THEN I get the money for repairing the bike, IF you survive, and WHEN you get OUT of the hospital! Using BOTH brakes is OK, but the PRIMARY braking force should be on the REAR, NOT the front!! THAT keeps the bike right side up!
Essentially etching is a part of a larger group of printmaking techniques which includes engraving (but not wood engraving), drypoint and aquatint – all of these use the intaglio method of printing, the differences are how the printing trenches are made, either by physically carving or using acid (etching and aquatint). Intaglio means that ink sits within fine trenches carved into a sheet of metal (copper, steel or zinc) and is transferred to paper by great pressure. To prepare a plate the design is covered with ink and then the surface ink is carefully removed leaving behind ink in the trenches, this is a long and careful process, once completely clean on the surface the plate is placed on an etching press and a sheet of dampened paper is put on it, then a sheet of felt is placed over that (to protect the paper and disperse the pressure evenly) the bed, plate and paper are then rolled under a heavy roller that produces great pressure to force the paper into the trenches to pick up the ink. The paper is then dried and the print is complete. A drawback of this method is that you cannot have large flat colour areas because the trenches have to be narrow or the ink will be cleaned out.
