whats the diffrence between axelback and catback exhaust systems?
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awYaB The paint department at any large builders centre will have both contact cement remover or lacquer thinner. Lacquer thinner has a very strong smell so be sure all the windows are open. Apply with a terry cloth rag. The glue will begin to soften. Scrap it off with a small flexible putty knife. Afterward wash the counter top down with soap and water to remove the smell. Dispose of the rag in the outside trash bin.
Did the products you used contain acetone? It's a common ingredient in nail polish remover but some removers are acetone free. If you've already tried something containing acetone, then you may want to consider using some super fine grit sandpaper, or a dry Scotch scrubbing pad (the type you use on pots pans). You might also try dropping some of the polish remover onto the surface, covering it with a glass or something to keep it from evaporating, and leaving it sit for a few minutes. Clean up and repeat. It may take more than 1 attempt. Proceed with caution and do a small spot at at time to avoid getting marks or stains on the ceramic from the chemicals or the abrasives. If none of these solutions work, hopefully you have some extra tiles and the damaged ones could be cut out and replaced.
axleback means from the rear axle to the end of the exhaust system and catback means from the catalytic converter to the end of the exhaust system.
Cat back systems cost more and are better flowing. The bends in good exhaust systems are smooth and using a Axle back system might improve the sound it might not do much for power. Personal experience with Banks, Gibson, Borla, Superperformance, And My new SLP loud mouth System on a 6.0liter V-8 GTO. Go all the way and when money allows headers random technology high flow converters and more!
